Privacy Policy
Last Updated: July 21, 2026
At AstroStock, we are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your data when you visit our website and use our services. By accessing or using our website, you consent to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Personal Information When you create an account or purchase a License, we may collect personal information such as your name, email address, profile image, preferred language, billing information, and trading preferences. If you choose to use our natal chart features, we also collect the birth date, birth time, and birth place you enter. You are not required to provide this information, and you may delete saved charts at any time. If you enter birth details relating to another person, you are responsible for having a lawful basis to do so.
1.2 Usage and Device Data We may collect information about how you interact with our website, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, device information, referring URLs, pages visited, and session duration. We may also derive approximate location (such as city, region, or country), network provider information, and device characteristics from your IP address and browser data using third-party lookup services. We maintain logs of authentication events, including the sign-in method used, timestamp, and associated device and location data. We store a device identifier for each device you sign in from, in order to enforce the device limits applicable to your plan.
1.3 AI and Platform Interaction Data When you use an AI feature, we process the prompts or messages you submit, relevant on-screen market or astrological context, selected settings, and — for AI chart analysis — an image of the chart you are viewing, which may include your drawings and labels. We transmit that material to Google Vertex AI to generate the requested response. We may retain request status, Stars charges or refunds, feedback, and limited diagnostic metadata needed to operate and secure the feature. Please do not submit personal, confidential, or third-party information that you do not want processed by an AI service.
1.4 Transaction and Virtual Currency Data We collect information related to your License, billing history, and Stars (virtual currency) balance, usage, and purchase history. Payment card details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor; AstroStock does not receive or store your full card number.
1.5 Cookies and Similar Technologies We use cookies and similar technologies to enhance your user experience, analyze trends, and gather demographic information. Please refer to our Cookie Policy below for more details.
1.6 Content You Create We store or synchronize content and configurations so we can provide them back to you, including chart layouts and drawings, drawing defaults, pinned tools, chart appearance, watchlists, alerts and evaluation state, saved scans and schedules, saved research or backtest configurations, saved natal charts, and chart onboarding progress. Some workspace drafts and interface preferences are stored only in your browser, as described in the Cookie Policy below.
1.7 Email Engagement Where we send you newsletters or campaign emails, we may record whether a message was opened and whether links within it were clicked, in order to measure the effectiveness of our communications. Every such email contains an unsubscribe link.
1.8 Referral Data If you take part in our referral program, we process your referral code, the association between the referring and referred accounts, and the signals we use to operate the program and detect abuse — including the IP address, approximate location, network provider, and device identifier or fingerprint captured at sign-up, and the status and rewards of each referral. We use this information to attribute referrals, grant and reconcile rewards, and detect and prevent fraudulent or abusive activity.
1.9 Fraud-Prevention and Operational Records To prevent repeated referral rewards after account deletion, we may retain a one-way hash of a canonicalized email address and the first-claim timestamp. That marker does not contain the raw email address and is not used to send messages. While related features are active, we also maintain operational state such as alert evaluation and delivery timestamps, scan schedule status and prior matches, and request or error status.
2. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA/UK Users)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data on the following legal bases:
Performance of a contract: To provide our services, process payments, and manage your account.
Legitimate interests: To improve our platform, conduct analytics, prevent fraud, and ensure security.
Consent: Where you have opted in to receive promotional communications or where cookies require your consent.
Legal obligation: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, or legal proceedings.
3. Use of Information
3.1 We use the collected information to provide and synchronize your workspace; run scanners, scheduled digests, and alerts; calculate research outputs; process AI requests; personalize and improve the service; process payments and Stars; enforce plan and device limits; prevent fraud and abuse; provide support; and send service or promotional communications consistent with your choices.
3.2 We may use interaction data to evaluate and improve our own scoring algorithms, calculations, and product experience, where feasible using aggregated or de-identified information. Google Vertex AI processes AI inputs under its applicable service terms to provide and secure the service; Google Cloud states that it does not use customer data to train or fine-tune AI models without prior permission or instruction. The provider may process or log limited data for security and abuse monitoring under those terms.
3.3 We may use aggregated and anonymized data for statistical analysis, research, and business purposes.
4. Sharing of Information
4.1 We may share your personal information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our website, processing payments, hosting infrastructure, providing analytics, or delivering services to you. These providers are subject to confidentiality obligations and are only permitted to use your data as necessary to perform services on our behalf.
4.2 Our AI-powered features rely on a third-party AI service provider, to which the inputs described in section 1.3 are transmitted for processing. We require such providers to maintain appropriate data protection standards.
4.3 We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government request, or if we believe that such disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our users or the public.
4.4 In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change in ownership or control of your personal information.
4.5 We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. Service Providers We Use
We rely on the following categories of service provider to operate AstroStock. Each processes only the data needed for its function, and each is governed by its own privacy policy.
Stripe — payment processing, License billing, and Stars purchases.
Google — sign-in with Google, Google Analytics, reCAPTCHA (bot protection on forms), and Google Vertex AI, which powers our AI features.
Databento — market data used for institutional flow features.
Mailjet — delivery of transactional and newsletter email.
Upstash — caching of session, subscription, and market data.
IPinfo — approximate geolocation and network lookup from IP addresses.
Discord — optional account linking for community access.
Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud — file and object storage.
Our hosting and database providers — operation of the platform and storage of your account data.
6. Data Retention
We retain account data and synchronized content for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the services. You may delete individual layouts, watchlists, alerts, scans, research configurations, and natal charts through the available controls. Authentication logs, alert and scan operational records, AI request metadata, email engagement records, and transaction records are retained for limited periods appropriate to security, fraud prevention, support, billing, and analytics. After account deletion, limited information may remain in backups or be retained to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent repeat referral abuse, or protect the service. Aggregated or de-identified data may be retained longer.
7. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction, including encryption of data in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security assessments. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. International Data Transfers
If you access our services from outside the United States, your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. We take appropriate safeguards to ensure that your personal data receives an adequate level of protection in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
9. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those websites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of those third parties before providing any personal information.
10. Children's Privacy
Our services are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child without parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers.
11. Your Rights and Choices
11.1 General Rights You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal information. You may also opt out of receiving promotional communications from us by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in those communications.
11.2 EEA/UK Residents (GDPR) If you are a resident of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to request access to, rectification, erasure, or portability of your personal data, the right to restrict or object to processing, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
11.3 California Residents (CCPA/CPRA) If you are a California resident and the CCPA applies, you may have the right to know and access the personal information we collect and how it is used or disclosed; request deletion; correct inaccurate information; limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information; opt out of sale or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising; and receive equal treatment when exercising your rights, subject to legal exceptions. AstroStock does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Contact us using the information below to submit a request.
11.4 Other Jurisdictions If you reside in a jurisdiction with applicable data protection laws, you may have additional rights. Please contact us to exercise any such rights.
12. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising out of or relating to this Privacy Policy shall be resolved in accordance with the Dispute Resolution and Binding Arbitration clause set forth in our Terms of Service.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to modify or update this Privacy Policy at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the revised Privacy Policy on our website and updating the "Last Updated" date above. Your continued use of our services after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.

If you have any questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy or our privacy practices, please contact us at [email protected].
Cookie Policy
Last Updated: July 21, 2026
AstroStock uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the platform is used.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and to provide information to the website owners.
2. Types of Cookies We Use
2.1 Essential Cookies These cookies are necessary for the website to function and cannot be switched off. They are set in response to actions you take, such as signing in, setting your theme or language, or recording your cookie choice. We may set a cookie to remember your preferred or most recent authentication method. Pages containing forms protected by reCAPTCHA may also set cookies necessary for bot protection.
2.2 Analytical and Performance Cookies These cookies allow us to count visits and traffic sources so that we can measure and improve the performance of our website. They help us understand which pages are the most and least popular and see how visitors move around the site. We use Google Analytics for this purpose. These cookies are set only if you accept them.
2.3 Functionality Cookies and Local Storage These technologies provide functionality and personalization. Cookies or browser storage may remember theme and language choices, chart-rail size and collapsed state, market-tool drafts, chart or interface preferences, and whether you dismissed a web-app installation prompt. Browser storage remains on that device until the service or your browser replaces it, or you clear site data; some signed-in settings are also synchronized to your account.
2.4 Advertising and Conversion Cookies We use Google Ads conversion tracking to measure whether a visit that originated from one of our advertisements resulted in a sign-up or purchase. This may allow Google to set cookies associated with your advertising profile. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. These cookies are set only if you accept them.
3. Your Consent
When you first visit AstroStock, a banner asks you to accept or decline non-essential cookies. Analytical, performance, and advertising cookies — including Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking — are loaded only after you press Accept. If you press Decline, or if you make no choice at all, these technologies are not loaded and no analytics or advertising cookies are set. Essential cookies are always set, as the website cannot function without them.
Your choice is stored for one year in a cookie named cookieConsent. You can change your choice at any time by clearing that cookie in your browser, which causes the banner to appear again on your next visit.
4. Managing Cookies in Your Browser
You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Most web browsers allow you to block or delete cookies, and to be notified when a cookie is set. However, if you limit the ability of websites to set cookies, you may impact your overall user experience, and you may be signed out of AstroStock.
5. Third-Party Cookies
Where you have accepted non-essential cookies, third-party services — including Google Analytics and Google Ads — may place cookies on your device. Our payment processor may also set cookies during checkout in order to complete your transaction and prevent fraud. These third-party services are subject to their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding this Privacy Policy or Cookie Policy, please contact us at [email protected].
In case of any discrepancy, the English version shall prevail.
