Modules

Angle Returns

This feature allows you to find the dates when a specific planet reaches a particular degree in the sky, either from Earth's perspective (geocentric) or from the Sun's perspective (heliocentric), for a given stock.

Apogee and Perigee

This feature feature allows you to find the dates when the Moon reaches its farthest point (apogee) and closest point (perigee) to Earth within a specified date range.

Declination

This feature allows you to retrieve the declination values of a selected planet for a given stock over its entire historical period.

Moon Phases

This feature allows you to retrieve the dates of New Moon and Full Moon phases within a specified date range.

Natal Transit Date

This feature allows you to find the dates when a specific transit planet forms a particular aspect angle with a natal planet within a given date range. To use this feature, you need to provide the following information:

  1. IPO date, time, and place for the natal chart
  2. Natal planet (e.g., Sun, Moon, Mercury, etc.)
  3. Transit planet (e.g., Sun, Moon, Mercury, etc.)
  4. Aspect angle (e.g., 0 for conjunction, 60 for sextile, 90 for square, etc.)
  5. Start date and end date for the transit search

Planetary Aspect

This feature allows you to identify the dates when two selected planets form a specific angular separation (in degrees) within a given tolerance, in relation to a particular stock symbol.

The feature uses advanced astronomical algorithms to calculate the positions of the selected planets for each trading day in the stock's historical data. It then checks if the angular separation between the two planets is within the specified tolerance of the desired degree value.

Planet Signs Phases

This feature allows you to find the dates when one or more planets enter specific zodiac signs within a given date range.

The feature uses advanced astrological algorithms to calculate the positions of the specified planets for each day within the given date range. It then determines the zodiac sign that each planet is in based on its ecliptic longitude and checks if the planet has entered any of the specified zodiac signs.

Planetary Degree Movement

This feature allows you to track the cumulative movement of a specific planet in degrees over a given time period.

The feature uses advanced astrological algorithms to calculate the position of the specified planet for each day within the given time period. It then calculates the cumulative movement of the planet in degrees since the start date. Whenever the cumulative movement exceeds the specified target degree movement, an event is recorded with the date and the planet's position at that time.

Planetary Latitudes

This feature allows you to retrieve the latitude values of a selected planet for a given stock over its entire historical period.

The latitude of a planet represents its angular distance north or south of the ecliptic plane, which is the apparent path of the Sun across the celestial sphere. Latitude values are measured in degrees, with positive values indicating north of the ecliptic and negative values indicating south of the ecliptic.

Planetary Speed

This feature allows you to retrieve the longitude speed and speed variation values of a selected planet for a given stock over its entire historical period.

The longitude speed represents the rate at which a planet is moving along the ecliptic, measured in degrees per day. It indicates how quickly the planet is progressing through the zodiac signs.

The speed variation represents the change in the planet's longitude speed compared to the previous trading day. It is calculated by subtracting the previous day's longitude speed from the current day's longitude speed.

Progressed Aspects

The "Progressed Aspects" feature allows you to identify the dates when two selected planets form significant aspects in a progressed natal chart, in relation to a specific stock. It's based on the astrological concept of progressions, where the positions of planets in the days following birth symbolically represent future years of life.

Progressions are a fascinating astrological technique that involves symbolically advancing the positions of planets in a natal chart to gain insights into future influences and experiences. The basic idea is that the positions of planets in the days following a stock's IPO date can represent future years of the stock. For instance, the planetary aspects occurring three days after birth may reflect significant events or themes in the third year of life.

The tool identifies the dates when the progressed positions of the two planets form the specified aspects within the given orb. The duration of an aspect's influence corresponds to the length of time it remains within orb. If an aspect lasts for an entire day, its influence may be experienced for a whole year, while a shorter aspect duration may indicate a more fleeting influence.

Progressed Transits

This feature combines two astrological concepts: progressions and transits. It allows you to identify the dates when a progressed planet forms significant aspects (angles) with a transiting planet, in relation to a specific stock and a stock's IPO information.

In astrology, progressions are based on the idea that the positions of planets in the days following a stock's IPO date can symbolically represent future years of the stock. For example, the position of a planet three days after IPO may reflect influences in the third year of the stock. The duration of an aspect's influence corresponds to the length of time it remains within orb.

Transits, on the other hand, refer to the current positions of planets in the sky and how they interact with a stock's natal chart. Normal transits involve aspects between the current position of a planet and the natal position of another planet (or the same planet).

The feature takes this a step further by considering the progressed position of a natal planet and analyzing its aspects with the current transiting planets. This provides insights into the potential influences of progressed planets on current events or experiences.

Parallel Transits

This feature allows you to identify the dates when two selected planets form parallel or contra-parallel aspects within a specified orb, in relation to a given stock symbol.

Parallel aspects occur when two planets have the same declination (angular distance north or south of the celestial equator), while contra-parallel aspects occur when two planets have equal declination but in opposite hemispheres (one north and one south).

Retrograde

This feature allows you to identify the retrograde periods of a selected planet within a specified date range, from either a geocentric (Earth-centered) or heliocentric (Sun-centered) perspective.

In astrology, a planet is said to be in retrograde when it appears to move backward in the sky from Earth's perspective. Retrograde periods are often associated with certain challenges, delays, or a need for reflection and revision in the areas of life governed by the retrograde planet.

Solar Arc Transits

This feature allows you to identify the dates when a progressed planet forms significant aspects with a natal planet, using the solar arc direction method, in relation to a specific stock symbol and a stock's birth information.

Solar arc direction is an astrological technique where the positions of planets in a natal chart are progressed forward in time based on the movement of the Sun. The idea is that for each year of life, the planets are symbolically moved forward by the same number of degrees as the Sun's movement in a year.

The tool identifies the dates when the progressed planet forms the specified aspects with the natal planet within the given orb. The results are returned as a list of aspect periods, each containing the date, the progressed and natal planets involved, the type of aspect formed, and the orb.

Square of 9 Planetary Dates

This feature allows you to find the dates when a selected planet reaches specific degree values based on the Gann Square of 9 method, in relation to a given stock symbol and a starting date.

The Gann Square of 9 is an astrological and numerological tool used by some traders to identify potential support and resistance levels in financial markets. It is based on the idea that certain numerical relationships and planetary positions can provide insights into market trends and turning points.

The feature uses astrological algorithms to calculate the position of the selected planet on the starting date. It then applies the Gann Square of 9 method to determine the next degree values that the planet should reach based on the specified scale.

The tool searches for the dates when the planet actually reaches those calculated degree values, starting from the given starting date and progressing forward in time.
