Charts Workspace
Open Dashboard → Charts to research a symbol with 13 chart types, 148 indicators, 132 drawing tools, and 46 chart panels. The workspace is available on every plan; advanced tools show their required plan before you add them.
Start with the chart tour
First-time users are offered a short Chart tour that walks through choosing a symbol, adding an indicator, placing a drawing, and saving a layout. You can replay it later from the chart's Help menu. The tour never replaces work already on the chart.
Workspace map
| Area | What it is for |
|---|---|
| Top toolbar | Symbol, interval, chart type, Compare, Spread, indicators, layouts, and view actions |
| Chart | Price, indicators, drawings, and applied panels |
| Drawing toolbar | Lines, Fibonacci, Gann, geometry, patterns, forecasts, shapes, and notes |
| Right rail | Watchlists, chart objects, modules, and research tools |
| Price scale | Auto scale, log scale, reset, and Time/Price Ratio |
Collapse the right rail when you need more chart room. The workspace remembers your view and supported settings with the current layout.
Choose symbol, interval, and chart type
Use symbol search to enter a ticker or pick from recent and popular symbols. Available intervals are 1m, 5m, 15m, 30m, 1h, 2h, 4h, Daily, Weekly, and Monthly. Daily and higher intervals are free; intraday intervals require Basic or Pro. Daily-only panels pause on intraday charts and return with their settings intact when you switch back.
The chart-type menu includes:
- Time-based views: Candles, Heikin-Ashi, Bars, Line, Area, and Rondinone.
- Price-driven views: Renko, Kagi, Point & Figure, and Range Bars.
- Swing views: Gann Swing, Percent Swing, and Point Swing.
A gear appears when the selected chart type has settings. A value of 0 means automatic where that option is offered. Price-driven and swing views simplify the tape, so some time-based overlays temporarily pause until you return to a compatible chart type.
Compare and spread charts
Use Compare to overlay as many as four additional symbols. The chart switches to percentage change so instruments with different prices can be read on the same scale. Remove the final comparison to return to normal price values. Compare pauses on price-driven chart types and resumes when you switch back.
Use Spread to combine two symbols as a difference, ratio, sum, or product. Indicators and drawings then apply to the combined series. Spread drawings are kept separate from drawings on the original symbol. Alerts are unavailable on a spread, and volume represents the first symbol.
Price scale and Time/Price Ratio
Open Price scale from the right edge of the chart. On desktop, hover the scale; on touch devices, tap its control button.
- Auto scale keeps visible prices fitted to the pane.
- Log scale is useful when percentage moves matter more than equal price distances.
- Reset view restores the default zoom and position.
- Time/Price Ratio shows the current relationship between one bar of time and the visible price distance.
Lock the Time/Price Ratio when you want Gann angles and other price/time drawings to keep the same screen geometry while zooming. While locked, automatic price rescaling and log scale are unavailable. The lock applies to the current symbol and can be released from the same control.
Add indicators and drawings
Select Indicators, search by name or category, and click a result to add it. The chart legend lets you change settings, hide, or remove each study. Star frequently used indicators for one-click access. See Indicators for help choosing a category.
Pick drawings from the drawing toolbar, then tap or click their anchor points. Select a finished drawing to edit its style, exact anchors, levels, visibility, lock, layer order, or duplication. The last style used for a tool becomes its default until you reset it. See Drawing Tools for the shared workflow and flyout map.
Save layouts and templates
Layouts preserve the chart setup—interval, chart type, indicators, panels, and supported options—and restore it on another symbol. Limits are 1 saved layout on Free, 5 on Basic, and 20 on Pro.
Built-in templates provide starting points for Gann, astro, momentum, classic technical, and breakout workflows. Apply one, adjust it, and save the result under your own name. Tools outside your plan remain off and explain how to unlock them.
Use the right rail
Watchlist and Objects
Watchlists let you switch symbols without leaving the chart. The Objects tab lists current drawings and provides show, hide, jump-to, and delete actions, including bulk visibility controls.
Modules
Modules contain Astro, Gann, and Price Geometry panels. Choose a panel, complete only the visible settings, and press Apply. Reopen it to adjust the result or turn it off. Start with Astro Modules, Gann Modules, or Price Geometry when you need help choosing a panel.
Analysis
Market Signals shows the active symbol's Gamma Exposure and Dark Pool context without leaving the chart. Research Tools answer more focused questions:
| Tool | What you get |
|---|---|
| Number Searcher | Nearby Gann reference numbers that can be added as chart levels |
| Confluence Cluster | Price areas where several independent chart references overlap |
| Pattern Matcher | Similar historical windows and an optional view of what followed |
| Aspect Finder | Upcoming and historical planetary aspects that can be marked on the chart |
| Lead-Lag Scanner | Markets that have tended to move before the active symbol, with a Lead-Lag Overlay action |
| Cycle Scanner | Prominent recent rhythms that can be added as a Composite Cycle |
| Forecast Composer | A combined scenario line with a separate recent-history check and forward segment |
| Event Tester | Historical behavior around astro events, ranked upcoming dates, and chart markers |
| Planetary Line Fit | Candidate settings for the Gann Planetary Lines panel, with apply and undo actions |
Treat every projection as a scenario to compare with price, not a promise. The Cycle Suite, Statistical Suite, and Event Tester guides explain the visible outputs in more detail.
Work on mobile
The mobile workspace keeps the same chart, indicators, layouts, and research tools in a compact layout. Tap Draw to open the drawing sheet, choose a tool, then tap the chart to place its anchors. Analysis and module controls open as sheets so the chart remains usable on a smaller screen. Use fullscreen or collapse panels when you need more room.
AI Analyze and sharing
AI Analyze reviews a snapshot of the current chart and drawings. It costs 2 Stars and returns a directional read, confidence, notable levels, and observations. Failed runs are refunded automatically. Use it as a second opinion and verify the result on the chart.
Use Screenshot to download the current view as a PNG. Volume, fullscreen, and reset controls affect only the visible workspace.
