Portfolios
Portfolios track what you actually hold: positions with their live value, today's move and profit or loss, how the money is spread, and — from Basic — how much risk the mix carries.
Where to find it
Open Portfolio from the Workspace section of the dashboard sidebar, or type PORT in the ⌘K palette.
Positions
Create a portfolio with New Portfolio…, then Add Position: the ticker, the shares and the average price you paid, in the ticker's own currency. Adding to a holding you already own averages the cost in.
Paste CSV opens Paste Positions, which imports many at once — one per line as symbol, shares, average cost, or a broker export with those columns in its header. A preview shows each line as new, adding to a holding or replacing it, and flags any line it can't read before anything is saved. Choose Add to Portfolio or Replace All.
The positions table shows each holding's price, today's change, market value, unrealized profit or loss in money and percent, and its weight, with totals above: value, today's P&L, total P&L and cost basis. Prices refresh every minute while the market is open.
Each portfolio has a Currency for its totals. Holdings priced in another currency — a London stock quoted in pence, a Tokyo stock in yen — are converted at today's rate, cost included.
Allocation
Allocation breaks the portfolio down by holding and by sector, so concentration is visible at a glance.
Risk — Basic
Risk measures the portfolio as it stands today — today's holdings at today's weights — over the past year of trading:
Performance charts the basket against SPY, Correlation shows how the largest holdings move together, and Contribution shows each holding's share of the total risk. These are price returns — dividends and past trades aren't included — and a holding with less than about three months of history is left out and named. Markets that close hours apart from New York (Tokyo, Hong Kong) show lower beta and correlation against SPY than they would on matched hours.
Plan access
Portfolios are on every plan: 1 portfolio on Free (15 positions), 5 on Basic and 20 on Pro (100 positions each). Risk analytics unlock at Basic.
