Event Tester

Event Tester is a Pro research tool for asking whether a repeatable astro event has been associated with a consistent price response on the active symbol. It also ranks upcoming dates using that symbol's own history.

Where to find it

Open a Daily chart, then choose Analysis → Event Tester. The tool uses the history currently loaded for that symbol, so confirm the ticker and date range before comparing results.

Test one event

  1. Choose an event type: stations, moon phases, eclipses, sign ingresses, aspects, perihelion/aphelion dates, Market calendar sessions — monthly and quarterly options expiration, month end, quarter end, and the turn of month — or Cycle anchors — US election days, BTC halvings, or a fixed period from an epoch date, with an optional day offset. These are the same schedules the Cycle Odds Zones lab folds, so a window found there can be tested here as dated events.
  2. Choose the planet, pair, direction, angle, and horizon options shown for that event.
  3. Press Run study.
  4. Review the event count, path chart, win rate, and returns at the displayed checkpoints.

Use the comparison line to see whether the selected event behaved differently from ordinary dates. A result near the middle of the comparison range looks similar to noise; a result near an outer edge is more unusual, but still requires an adequate number of occurrences.

Read sample size before the headline result. A large move from a few events is weaker context than a smaller pattern repeated many times.

Put the result on the chart

  • Mark on chart adds dated vertical lines through the Event Occurrences panel. Past and upcoming markers persist with the layout.
  • Project path anchors the historical event path to the latest close through the Event Path Projection panel. Optional range bands show how varied the past paths were.
  • Use the matching clear actions to remove either result. Both panels can also be opened directly from Modules → Astrology.

The projected path is a visual scenario. Its future prices are not targets and its next turn is not a prediction.

Rank and review upcoming events

The Rank tab tests the available event catalog and sorts it by the displayed historical edge. The catalog spans the astro grid plus the market-calendar dates, so expiration weeks and month-end effects rank alongside the sky events. Each row shows its occurrence count, direction, return, win rate, comparison badge, and next date when available. Filter to upcoming events when you only want rows with a near-term occurrence.

The Upcoming tab focuses on events in the next 30, 60, or 90 days. Select a row to open its full study, then mark it on the chart if the history is strong enough to justify continued review.

Thin histories are de-emphasized. Do not promote a row simply because it appears near the top; check the sample and full path first.

Combine events

The Compose tab joins two or three event streams into one composite study. Build each term with the same pickers as the Test tab, then choose how they combine:

  • All within window requires every included stream to occur within the chosen ± day window. The first required term anchors the composite dates, so swapping term order changes what is measured.
  • Any occurrence merges the streams into one series, one date per day.
  • Mark a term as Veto to remove composite dates that fall near its events instead of requiring them.

Run the composite study, mark it on the chart, or project its average path exactly like a single event. Saved composites score alongside the catalog in the Rank tab and appear in Upcoming when a future date falls inside the scan window.

Composites multiply the ways a favorable-looking result can appear by chance. Keep the random-dates percentile in view and prefer combinations whose parts already made sense on their own.

Use it responsibly

  • Define the event and horizon before reading the result to avoid selecting only a favorable view.
  • Compare average and median results; a large difference can indicate a few unusual moves.
  • Treat several similar aspect rows as related evidence, not independent confirmation.
  • Retest periodically because a relationship can weaken as the symbol or market regime changes.
  • The tool describes what happened around past events. It does not promise recurrence.
