Stars Virtual Currency
Stars are astrostock's in-app currency used to access premium AI features: AI Chart Analysis in the Charts Workspace and Signal Sage questions.
Monthly Allocations
Each subscription plan includes a monthly Stars allocation:

Purchased Stars never expire and are spent only after your monthly Stars are depleted.

How Stars Work
- Monthly allocation is credited at the start of each billing period
- When you use a Stars-gated feature, monthly Stars are spent first
- Once monthly Stars are depleted, purchased and referral Stars are used
- Unused monthly Stars do not roll over — they reset each period
- A full transaction ledger tracks all credits and debits
Managing Your Stars
Your Stars balance is visible in the header bar across the platform. For detailed balance information and purchase history, visit Settings > Stars in your dashboard.
Referral Stars and billing credit
Purchased and referral-earned Stars share the non-expiring, redeemable balance. Referral rewards are listed separately in the transaction ledger so you can see why each credit was added.
Redeemable Stars convert to account credit at 5¢ per Star, with a 100-Star minimum in 20-Star steps. Credit applies automatically to the next invoice and cannot be withdrawn as cash. Monthly plan Stars cannot be redeemed.
