Cycle Suite
Cycle Suite contains twelve Pro indicators for direction, momentum, phasing, and scenario building. Start with Cycle Lines, then add one supporting view that answers a different question.
Where to find it
Open Dashboard → Charts → Indicators → Cycle Suite. The Analysis rail also includes Cycle Scanner and Forecast Composer, which can add configured cycle overlays to the chart.
Choose a tool
| Tool | What to look for |
|---|---|
| Cycle Lines | Green or red directional shading and the Pivot line where the displayed cycle can change |
| Cycle Signals | Sparse green and red dots showing short-term changes |
| Cycle Momentum | Colored ribbons during stronger moves and highlighted momentum changes |
| Cycle Pressure | Sustained changes in candle color near a cycle high or low |
| Cycle Bias | The slower directional line to use as a filter for faster signals |
| Cycle Wave | A faster histogram and leading line for shorter swings |
| Dominant Cycle Envelope | The upper, lower, and middle areas of the broader wave |
| Forward Displacement Line | A price reference carried into the space ahead of the latest bar |
| Cycle Residual | A pane that makes recurring troughs easier to compare inside a broader trend |
| Phasing Diamonds | Cycle lows across several time scales; deeper stacks mark stronger overlap |
| Composite Cycle | Several selected rhythms combined into one line with a forward segment |
| Forecast Composer | A scenario combining selected cycle, annual, astro, and trend components |
The Indicator Library explains each visible input. Shorter or more responsive settings usually react earlier and change more often; steadier settings respond later and filter more noise.
A practical workflow
- Add Cycle Lines and identify the current shading and Pivot line.
- Add Cycle Momentum or Cycle Pressure to see whether the shorter move supports that direction.
- Use Cycle Bias when you need a slower filter, or Phasing Diamonds when timing a possible low matters more than direction.
- Remove tools that repeat the same message. A clean chart makes changes easier to notice.
The end of the Dominant Cycle Envelope is intentionally behind the newest bar. The Forward Displacement Line and other projections may extend beyond the newest bar. These different endpoints are part of how the tools are displayed, not missing market data.
Cycle Scanner and Composite Cycle
Open Analysis → Cycle Scanner and press Scan cycles. The result lists recent rhythms by period, strength, and persistence. Select one or more rows to preview their combined wave, then add it as a Composite Cycle indicator.
Use the historical part of the line first: do recent highs and lows repeatedly land near its turns? If not, do not rely on the forward segment. Saved layouts retain the selected Composite Cycle settings.
For a heatmap showing which cycle lengths are strengthening or fading over time, use Cycle Spectrogram from Adaptive Filters.
Forecast Composer
Forecast Composer builds one scenario from the components you enable:
- Cycles for recurring shorter rhythms.
- Annual for the symbol's calendar pattern.
- Astro for a selected planetary relationship.
- Trend for the broader direction.
Choose the components, press Fit & compose, and inspect the result before applying it. The solid historical section shows the main scenario, the separate recent-history section shows how it behaved on newer bars, and the forward section extends the same scenario beyond the latest bar. Visible hit-rate and relationship statistics describe the recent-history section only.
Turn off components that make the recent result less useful. Applying the result adds the Forecast Composer overlay and stores its resolved settings with the layout.
Read projections responsibly
- A projected turn is a time to review price, not a predicted high or low.
- Prefer a simple scenario that has remained useful recently over a complex line that only explains older history.
- Check several starting windows and symbols before treating a rhythm as stable.
- News, gaps, and structural market changes can break a previously useful cycle immediately.
- Do not count Cycle Scanner, Composite Cycle, and Forecast Composer as three independent confirmations when they use the same underlying rhythm.
Plan access
All twelve Cycle Suite indicators, Cycle Scanner, and Forecast Composer require Pro.
