Market Tools
Three tools in the dashboard's Markets section keep watch when you're not staring at charts: Alerts notify you when your conditions trigger, Seasonality maps a symbol's calendar rhythm, and Rotation Orbit shows where sectors sit in the leadership cycle.
Alerts — Basic
Create alerts from Dashboard → Alerts and let the platform do the watching. Alerts come in three kinds:

How to use it:
- Press the create button and pick a kind and type. For a price level, you can also right-click the chart or an alert line and create or edit the alert in place. Active price alerts stay visible as labeled chart lines.
- Choose Once (fires a single time) or Recurring with a cooldown (1 hour, 4 hours, 1 day, or 1 week) so a choppy tape can't spam you.
- Keep email notification on if you want alerts in your inbox as well as in-app.
- Manage everything from the alerts table — pause, edit, or delete as setups play out.
Example: after pinning a Number Searcher level on the chart, set a level-cross alert at that price. When it trades through, you get the notification instead of watching the tape all day.
Plan access: alerts unlock at Basic. Limits: 0 on Free, 10 on Basic, 50 on Pro. Every plan's alerts are evaluated at end of day; Pro adds a 15-minute intraday sweep for price alerts, so triggers land during the session instead of after the close.
Seasonality — Basic
Dashboard → Seasonality draws a symbol's average calendar-year path from up to a decade of history and overlays the current year on top, with per-month statistics beneath.
Cycle presets regroup the composite: Annual is the classic every-year average; Decade year averages only the years sharing the current decade position (…0 through …9); Election cycle averages one US presidential-cycle phase (election, post-election, midterm, pre-election), defaulting to the phase the current year is in. A sample-count badge always shows how many years the curve is built from — grouped presets run on thin samples by design, and the page says so instead of hiding it. Show individual years overlays each contributing year as a ghost line behind the average.
How to use it:
- Enter a symbol and choose how many years of history to average.
- Read the average path for the recurring shape — which months have historically been strong or weak, where the year's typical inflections sit.
- Compare the current-year line against the average: tracking it, leading it, or diverging from it are three different stories.
Example: a symbol whose average path bottoms in early October while this year's line is already stretched below it — that's context for scaling risk differently than the calendar-blind view would suggest.
Seasonality shows what recurred, not what must recur. Use the recurring windows as context around your other signals — never as a standalone trigger.

Rotation Orbit — Pro
Dashboard → Rotation plots a universe of symbols on a two-axis plane — relative strength versus its momentum, measured against a benchmark — and trails each symbol's recent path so you can see rotation happen. The plane reads as four quadrants:

| Improving | Still weak, but momentum has turned up |
Symbols tend to orbit clockwise through the quadrants — leadership matures, fades, bottoms, and rebuilds.
How to use it:
- Pick a Universe — S&P sectors, mega-cap tech, global indices, or crypto majors — or run it over one of your own watchlists.
- Choose the Benchmark the universe is measured against.
- Set the Tail length: longer tails show the full arc of the rotation, shorter tails emphasize the latest move.
- Hunt the transitions: names curling out of Lagging into Improving are candidates building relative strength; names rolling from Leading into Weakening are where trimming starts. The table below the chart puts numbers to every dot.

Rotation Lines on the chart
Add Rotation Lines from the chart's Indicator Library when you want the same relative-strength and momentum model for one symbol through time. It defaults to SPY, supports another benchmark, and can color candles by the four Orbit quadrants. Rotation Orbit compares a group at one glance; Rotation Lines explains one symbol's path.
