Quick Start with astrostock

astrostock brings market discovery, professional charting, signals, institutional flow, and specialized research tools into one workspace. Start with the workflow below; open a detailed guide only when you need it.

1. Find a symbol

Open the Market Overview & Screener to browse active stocks, gainers, losers, and growth candidates. Select a symbol to see its company profile, fundamentals, technical readings, Gann levels and options chain.

Company profiles are shown in English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, or Traditional Chinese according to your selected language.

2. Read the setup

Add the signal indicators — TD13, Divergence, Buy/Sell, Trend Beacon and the Operation Advisor — to read the current setup, then open the Market Analysis rail for Gamma Exposure and Dark Pool context on the active symbol.

  • Every plan: the core indicator library and drawing tools.
  • Basic and Pro: the full signal-indicator set and all intraday intervals.

Treat any signal as a research shortcut, not a trade instruction. Check the evidence on the chart before acting.

3. Work on the chart

Open Dashboard → Charts for 13 chart types, 148 indicators, 132 drawing tools, and 46 analysis panels.

  • Search indicators from the top toolbar.
  • Use the left toolbar for drawings and save your preferred style as the default.
  • Use the right-side Analysis rail for market context, cycle research, forecasts, event tests, and lead-lag comparisons.
  • Save layouts so the same setup can be reused on another symbol.

New users can follow the Chart tour from the Help menu. The same core workflow is available on mobile through compact drawing, module, and Analysis sheets.

Daily, weekly, and monthly bars are available to every plan. Basic and Pro also include 1m, 5m, 15m, 30m, 1h, 2h, and 4h intervals.

4. Validate the idea

Use the AI Backtest page to see how a preset AI strategy would have traded SPY, QQQ, or TQQQ in a past year. Choose the ticker, the Sentiment or Reversal model, and the year; the chart compares the strategy's fund value with buying and holding the same ticker. Read the stated assumptions — take profit, stop loss, maximum hold time, and fees — before drawing a conclusion, and remember the result describes one preset strategy in one year, not your own idea.

5. Let alerts watch it

Create price, indicator, or astro alerts from the Alerts page or directly from the chart. Choose recurrence and cooldown settings to control repeated notifications. Astro aspect alerts can monitor the first hit, second hit, or both phases.

Use Seasonality for calendar tendencies and Rotation Orbit to compare sector leadership. Add Rotation Lines to a chart when you want the active symbol's relative strength and momentum against SPY or another benchmark.

6. Add the research module you need

  • Gann and Price Geometry for price/time structure.
  • Cycle Suite for rhythm, phasing, and velocity.
  • Statistical Suite for regression, correlation, distributions, and probability ranges.
  • Adaptive Filters for cleaner trend and cycle views.
  • Extremes Suite for exhaustion, confirmed turns, and volatility-scaled targets.
  • Positioning for weekly CFTC futures positioning.
  • Astro Modules for planetary-event panels, natal charts, and timing research.
  • Harmonic Trader for Gartley recognition and trade-management drawings.

The core chart workspace works without any specialized module.

7. Track flow when it matters

Pro adds Dark Pool, Smart Flow, and Gamma Squeeze. These surfaces help you inspect reported off-exchange blocks, unusual options activity, and dealer-positioning levels. Data may be delayed; each guide states its source and freshness.

8. Manage Stars and referrals

Plans include 10, 100, or 200 monthly Stars. Use Stars for AI analysis. Purchased and referral-earned Stars do not reset and can be converted into billing credit.

Open Settings → Referrals to share your invite link and track rewards. See the Referrals guide for current reward and redemption rules.
